The effect of noise on the dynamics of a complex map at the period-tripling accumulation point
As shown recently (O.B.Isaeva et al., Phys.Rev E64, 055201), the phenomena
intrinsic to dynamics of complex analytic maps under appropriate conditions may
occur in physical systems. We study scaling regularities associated with the
effect of additive noise upon the period-tripling bifurcation cascade
generalizing the renormalization group approach of Crutchfield et al.
(Phys.Rev.Lett., 46, 933) and Shraiman et al. (Phys.Rev.Lett., 46, 935),
originally developed for the period doubling transition to chaos in the
presence of noise. The universal constant determining the rescaling rule for
the intensity of the noise in period-tripling is found to be
Numerical evidence of the expected scaling is

Entanglement in the Process of Stimulated Brillouin Scattering of Light
The process of stimulated Brillouin scattering is described by the model of
two-dimensional oscillator. The phenomenon of entanglement which appears in the
photon-phonon modes after the interaction with matter is discussed.Comment: 4 pages, LaTe
Lyapunov exponents of quantum trajectories beyond continuous measurements
Quantum systems interacting with their environments can exhibit complex
non-equilibrium states that are tempting to be interpreted as quantum analogs
of chaotic attractors. Yet, despite many attempts, the toolbox for quantifying
dissipative quantum chaos remains very limited. In particular, quantum
generalizations of Lyapunov exponent, the main quantifier of classical chaos,
are established only within the framework of continuous measurements. We
propose an alternative generalization which is based on the unraveling of a
quantum master equation into an ensemble of so-called 'quantum jump'
trajectories. These trajectories are not only a theoretical tool but a part of
the experimental reality in the case of quantum optics. We illustrate the idea
by using a periodically modulated open quantum dimer and uncover the transition
to quantum chaos matched by the period-doubling route in the classical limit.Comment: 5 pages, 4 figure
Belyakov homoclinic bifurcations in a tritrophic food chain model
Complex dynamics of the most frequently used tritrophic food chain model are investigated in this paper. First it is shown that the model admits a sequence of pairs of Belyakov bifurcations (codimension-two homoclinic orbits to a critical node). Then fold and period-doubling cycle bifurcation curves associated to each pair of Belyakov points are computed and analyzed. The overall bifurcation scenario explains why stable limit cycles and strange attractors with dierent geometries can coexist. The analysis is conducted by combining numerical continuation techniques with theoretical arguments
IMMUNOPATHOGENETIC FEATURES OF MONONUCLEOSIS IN CHILDREN WITH VARIOUS MICROBIAL FLORA OF THE RHINOPHARYNX
One of the most common childhood diseases is infectious mononucleosis (IM), which Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is a causative factor. According to WHO statistics, more than 5 million children die every year from the indicated infectious pathology and its consequences in the world. Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pneumoniae and other Streptococcus, Enterococcus, Lactobacillus Actinomices, Neisseria, Actinomyces, Clostridium, Pseudomonas, Staphylococus epidermidis, Staphylococus aureus are most often detected in the oral cavity and nasopharynx. In the available literature there are practically no works that would consider the effect of microbial flora of the mucous membrane of the rhinopharynx on the formation of the immune response of children with IM.One of the most common childhood diseases is infectious mononucleosis (IM), which Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is a causative factor.
